I am currently a regular guest musician at a small Congregational Church in Cherryfield, Maine–just down the road from our residence in the town of Milbridge. I lead the traditional worship music–including prelude, postlude, the Doxology, and the Gloria Patri–all on guitar. Why guitar? Because that’s the only instrument I currently have any real facility with. It’s unusual, but it seems to be working for this small group of faithful Christians.
